October 2025 Energy Update

As we move into October, the recent discovery of the Comet (3 I Atlas) comes into symbolic awareness, as it passes close to Mars at the beginning of October and at its closest point to the sun at the end of October.  Whilst Comets don’t cause anything, they are historically linked to significant change.  The symbolism we assign to a comet is a mirror of the collective psyche.  We are undeniably at a point of transition and issues around Time, A I, Technology and Political Change will be increasingly brought to the fore in the coming months. 3 I Atlas may be heralded as the changemaker.

We have now passed the Equinox point and are in the last quarter of 2025.  The energy of the recent eclipses is still reverberating and general themes occurring in the collective unconscious are of uncertainty and fear.   We are given multiple opportunities to come into awareness and steady ourselves as we begin to question our relationship with the past, the present and the future.

The Aries full moon occurs on 7th October (4.47am BST). The self, individualism and power are themes with Aries.  The energy is supporting us to regroup and focus on where we currently are in our own personal time-line of events.  There is power in the moment and we are being encouraged to rebalance and bring ourselves into alignment with our realities.

The symbolism of the Aries / Libra axis is the self and relationships.  It is likely that our relationships will reflect back to us our own issues. Metaphorically, a full moon always shines a light on anything we have allowed to grow – for better or for worse.

With Mercury, linked to communication, about to move into the Astrological sign of Scorpio on the same day as the full moon, we can expect that our conversations may uncover something hidden that we were previously unaware of.  Or, it may be that something we have hidden will come into the open.  The cautionary note is to be careful of what we say and equally of what we don’t say.  With Pluto and Uranus joining the cosmic conversation tensions may be high.

Mid-month we may feel motivated to pursue our dreams and desires as we take stock of what we value.  If our ideals have a spiritual context, they are more likely to crystalise into reality over the next few months.

On 21st October (13.24 BST) we have a new moon at the last degree of Libra.  Again, the energy is resonant with power and wisdom.  It is a time for inward reflection, where we can come to understand what lessons we have learned through our relationships.  How we navigate forward will depend on our depth, wisdom and self-realisation.

By the end of October, we may be able to see how we have made progress in areas of our lives, yet still feel that we are not moving forward fast enough.  From now until February 2026 we are given an opportunity to review our relationship with time and come into acceptance of where we are now.
